PMP Certification - Who can get PMP certified

PMP certification for experienced project managers. If you’re an experienced project manager looking to enhance skills and maximize earning potential, it is right time to get PMP certified. PMP stands for Project Management Professional. This credential is one of the globally recognized project management certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

To apply for PMP certification, candidates should be qualified in either of the two categories listed below

Category I
Candidate holds a baccalaureate or equivalent university
Candidate with a four-year bachelor degree or global equivalent can apply for this exam. He/she should have a minimum of three years project management experience, with 35 hours of project management education and 4,500 hours leading and directing projects.

Category II
Candidate does not hold a baccalaureate or equivalent university
Candidate without bachelor degree should have a secondary degree ie high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent can apply for this exam. He/she should have a minimum of five years project management experience, with 35 hours of project management education and 7,500 hours leading and directing projects.
